Some of them have been offered admissions, but due to their ignorance they forfeit the admission, because this set of people have been offered  another course by their choice of institution, but they are unaware of the "JAMB CAPS TRANSFER APPROVAL PAGE" where to check. . The 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination (UTME) is fixed for March 14 . Prof Is-haq Oloyede, registrar of JAMB, made the announcement in Abuja . The announcement was made a day after JAMB said it may deploy drones to monitor examinations in 2020 . Prospective candidates for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination (UTME) are to participate in the exercise on March 14 as the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) begins preparation. . The date was announced by JAMB on Monday, December 23, saying the examination will hold between March 14 and April 4. . The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced that the sales of JAMB registration form for 2019 UTME will commence on January 10th, 2019. The announcement was made by JAMB’s Registrar Professor Oloyede during a meeting with owners of JAMB Computer Based Test Centres at the University of Lagos. According to professor Oloyede, the sales of form will start January 10th and last for 6 weeks. Followed by the examination in March. He further disclosed that the board will not allow Cyber Cafe operators to register candidates because they are extorting candidates and overcharging them and also engaging in services that they do not have the capacity to do. The professor urged all prospective candidates to do their registration and access the board’s major services in any of its 718 accredited centres in the country. The portal for OAU POST-UTME registration has been updated with the information below. CHANGE OF COURSE EFFECTED ON THE ADMISSION PORTAL All candidates that applied for change of course on the JAMB site can check the changes on the Admission portal and proceed to register for the Post UTME if they have not done so yet. The deadline for post utme registration has been extended. Those with held or awaiting result have the grace to upload their olevel before then. The new deadline for the POST-UTME registration is now 26th August, 2019.

JAMB wants varsities to update portals for the board to commence screening and processing of admissions

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB have called on universities and other tertiary institutions in the country to regularly download and update their record at any given time in other to remain up to speed with the list of applicants seeking admission into their institution as forwarded to them by the board.
